“Vandana Satgoor is a dynamic ESG strategist, having studied Industrial-Organisational Psychology and International Relations at Rhodes University, Business Management at GIBS and is certified Carbon Footprint Practitioner with IEMA she has over 8 years of experience at the intersection of sustainability, youth empowerment and inclusive digital transformation. As the Founder of ESG Studio Share, she advises businesses across Africa on embedding low-carbon, socially responsible strategies within their operations, to tactically enhance ROI, risk, resilience and progress.

Formerly the Sustainability Manager at South Africa’s largest listed IT company, Vandana led the development, measurement, evaluation and reporting of ESG programs, systems and controls, aligned to global standards such as IFRS S1, S2, GRI, GHG Protocol, TCFD, and SASB—achieving an 84% reduction in carbon emissions costs over 4 years and managing over $8 million in educational, socio economic and youth development initiatves. She has pioneered employee wellness and DEI strategies, including the first Virtual Reality training program to tackle unconscious bias in corporate environments with the ultimate learning outcome to train for empathy.

Vandana also served as the Southern Africa Coordinating Ambassador for One Young World (2023 – 2024), mobilising youth leaders across 10 Southern African countries to co-create solutions for climate justice, gender equity, digital access and mental health. Her leadership has attracted corporate sponsorships from, McKinsey, Standard Bank and ABSA, enabling innovative caucuses, masterclasses, and SDG-aligned youth forums.”
