Bonface Otieno Odhiambo
TV Producer/Director | Ag. Programs Controller, Kenyatta University Television (KUTV)
I am a TV Producer/Director, Media Consultant, and Educator with a deep passion for storytelling, audience engagement, and digital media innovation. My career in multimedia production spans across television, radio, and digital platforms, where I have crafted compelling content that informs, educates, and inspires diverse audiences.
As the Acting Programs Acquisition Manager at Kenyatta University Television and Radio Services (KUTV&RS), I play a key role in curating engaging content, overseeing live productions, and mentoring students in media and broadcast journalism. My expertise in videography, event production, podcasting, and documentary filmmaking allows me to create impact-driven storytelling that sheds light on societal challenges and fosters meaningful conversations.
Beyond broadcasting, I have collaborated with corporate partners, state agencies, and grassroots organizations to develop media that amplifies social impact, economic opportunities, and cultural heritage. My experience includes producing educational documentaries, live sports coverage, and public awareness campaigns, all of which reflect my commitment to using media as a tool for transformation, advocacy, and knowledge-sharing.
I am particularly passionate about bridging the gap between academia and industry through training and capacity-building programs. By integrating digital outreach, content strategy, and immersive storytelling, I help shape the evolving landscape of media and communication while fostering a sustainable, inclusive digital learning ecosystem.
At DEWS 2025, I bring a unique perspective on leveraging media for meaningful engagement, knowledge dissemination, and innovative content experiences that resonate with today’s digital audiences.
